Defensive Refutations:
1. Countering the truth- Coming against your opponents absolute statement with your own.
2. Pointing out missing steps in their Logic- Pointing out the things they forgot to do in the way they came to their decision.
3. Explaining why the Argument is Non-Unique- Talking about how their argument is not original to their personality.
4. The argument is not Comparative- Their argument is supposed to compare two things but it doesnt.
5. Raising Empirical Objections- Raising objections to Statistics of the opponent.
6. Weighing Arguments- Seeing what youre argument is worth.
7. Logical Fallices- a Logical misstated argument.
8. Correlation Fallacy- Connecting two arguments in an incorrect manner.
9. Naturalistic Fallacy- Misleading statement that ought to be something else.
10. Begging the question- Begging for the question
11. False Dilemma- False problem
Offensive Responses
1. Link Turn- If the negative argued the plan would destroy the economy, the affirmative would link turn this argument by arguing that the plan would help the economy.
2. Impact Turn- If the negative argued the plan would cause the economy to collapse, resulting in war the affirmative could impact turn by arguing that economic decline would actually dampen desire to go to war.
